It is 4 years since we initially planned to travel with Keiko Holmes and Agape World on a reconciliation trip to Japan to meet with the son of a Japanese soldier my father had kept a photo of since being a FEPOW (Far East Prisoner of War). 2020 saw the trip cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. We then rescheduled to visit Japan after our Alaskan cruise in 2022, but that plan was scuppered as Japan closed its ports for COVID-related reasons. This was to be our third attempt. So fly we must.

In addition Tali, is due to graduate from the University of Queensland Medical School in Dec 2024, having arrived in Australia in 2021.

The focus of this trip is to fulfill both promises: to finally participate in the Japanese pilgrimage and, secondly, to join our daughter as she graduates and starts her new career.
